Saris are the traditional garment that is worn by most Indian women’s. Sari is not just a six yards of cloth, but it is a wonderful outfit for the women’s of India. It is the most graceful traditional outfits of women. It describes the beauty of the woman and brings out her grace and glamour. No other attire is graceful as saris. In saris woman looks more graceful. Saris are considered as the perfect outfit for women. Women wearing colorful, floral, printed and even plain saris looks very beautiful than any other attire. Saris are available in different colors and designs depending on the different moods of the Indian women. Women choose saris according to their mood and occasion. If a woman is going for any celebration, she would love to wear a designer sari. Style of wearing a sari is also an art. Style of wearing sari differs from one region to the other in India. Style of wearing indicates perfect outlook of a woman. Some of the striking wearing styles are rural, tribal, nivi, Bengali and urban. Today nivi style is very popular among younger generation. Indian saris are getting recognized internationally. Women from abroad are also getting attracted towards these beautiful saris. Gujarat, Rajasthan and Banaras are very famous for the sari production. Women’s from other countries have also started appreciating this Indian attire. Designers have to really work hard to increase the popularity of this Indian attire worldwide. This very famous Indian attire can be draped around in innumerous ways. There are few ways of wearing a sari- 1. There are two important essential parts of the attire that is worn along with sari and these need to be chosen carefully, as these compliments the sari. Petticoat is a waist to floor length garment, which tied tightly at the waist by a drawstring. The color should match the base color of the sari. Another one is blouse, this needs to be tight fitted and its color is chosen by keeping the look of the sari in mind. This can be short, long or sleeveless. It can be from the variety of necklines. This ends below the bust. 2. Tuck saris plain or upper end into the petticoat, in a position which is near o the right of the navel. Make sure that the lower part of the sari touches the floor, and that the whole length of the sari comes on the left hand side. After this wrap the sari around once, with the sari coming back in the front, to the right side. 3. Make about 6 to 7 pleats of similar width of 5 inches started at the tucked in end. Than gather he pleats together ensuring that lower edge of the pleats are even and off the ground. Pleats should fall straight and evenly. Safety pin can be used to stop the pleats from scattering. 4. Tuck the pleats into the petticoat, at the waist, near to the left of the navel in a manner that they get open to the left. 5. Drape the remaining fabric around once more left to right. And then bring it round to the hips to the front while holding the top edge of the sari. 6. Raise the remaining portion of the sari on the back. Bring it up under the right arm and over the left shoulder so that the end of the sari falls to the level of the knees. End portion is thus draped. This is called pallu. And this pallu can be plaited at the shoulder to the blouse with a safety pin. Saris have been considered as the most appropriate attire for females. Saris are available in huge range in markets as well as online. Women are dressed in saris or designer saris look more glamorous than any other attire.
