The Xerox Phaser 8560 is a solid ink color printer designed to meet the needs of a medium or large office while still remaining compact and capable of producing high quality images and text. The Xerox Phaser 8560 boasts a monthly duty cycle of as much as 85,000 pages and measures only 16 inches wide, 21 inches wide, and 14.5 inches deep, making it both capable and compact. For connectivity, the Xerox Phaser 8560 needs only a wired Ethernet connection as well as a high speed USB cable. The USB cable for this printer is sold separately and can be purchased from any computer supply or office supply retailer. The Xerox Phaser 8560 is compatible with many major operating systems, including Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X 10.2 or later, Novell NetWare, and Linux and UNIX based systems. The Xerox Phaser 8560 is capable of printing in black and white and full color through the use of four Xerox Phaser solid ink sticks. The solid ink sticks for the Xerox Phaser 8560 are available in black, magenta, cyan and yellow, and are designed to print a large number of pages with exceptional quality. The Xerox solid ink sticks for the Xerox Phaser 8560 ink are designed to produce more even and vivid color and tone that traditional laser toner. The Xerox Phaser 8560 is capable of printing at a rate of as much as 30 pages per minute for both black and white and full color, with a first page out time of as little as 5 seconds. The Xerox Phaser 8560 can print with a resolution of 600 dpi by 600 dpi and supports a page capacity of as much as 1675 sheets.
