Unique Aspects of Palm Reading India

India has a rich astrological heritage and culture and has been one of the leaders of the world in this regard. What are the unique aspects of palm reading India?

Having a look at history will reveal that palm reading is one of the oldest arts of Indian astrologists. The date goes back to the days of Vedic literature in “The Laws of Manu” and “Vashistha Rules”. Both these books contain the guiding principles for leading the most aesthetic life.

Going Back in History It was almost three thousand years ago when the “Sariraka Shastra” was written and described how the palms could be read using the knowledge of palmistry readings. Much later during 1960s the work was translated and published by V.A.K.Ayer, an eminent palmist.

Origin of Indian Palmistry Palmistry in India had began almost at the same time and then flourished into an advanced science and trade pursued by many. The science of Indian palmistry was based on the Kartikeyan Systems. Legend goes that when Lord Vishnu was having his sleep in ‘Ananta Shayanam’, the Lord of the Sea and father of Mahaluxmi, Varuna started writing down the auspicious marks on the bodies of Lord Vishnu and Mother Goddess Mahaluxmi. These writings laid the foundation of Indian palmistry.

The First Laws of Palmistry First laws of palmistry in India were created by Manu considered to be the initiator of Indian palmistry. However Manu advised strictly against commercialization of the divine arts of astrology and palmistry. It was professed in Manu Sanhita that “neither by explaining prodigies and omens, nor by skill in astrology and palmistry, nor by casuistry and expositions of the Sastras, let him ever seek to obtain alms.”

Reading Indian Hand Signs A comparison of modern science and Indian palmistry indicates that 0 • There are close resemblances between the modern science that deals with studying the minor physical anomalies and palmistry India. • One difference is that the latter aimed at predicting the future by reading the signs. • The other difference is that art of Indian palm reading evolved the concept of dynamic signs that change over the passage of time, the modern science is based on inborn marks in human anatomy.

Focal Points in Indian Palmistry So far as the focal points in Indian palmistry reading are concerned, they are the tiniest marks on the palm. These include even the moles and spots besides the lines. For instance; the reading of heart line, head line, and luck lines are most common in case of Indian palmistry.

Reasons for Rise of Palmistry Some of the reasons that have handsomely contributed to the rise of Palmistry in India are as follows. • Eagerness and anxiety of men to learn about their future; a trend prevalent from times immemorial. • Art of palm reading originated in India only. There is a huge lot of believers in the art which the think has a scientific base. • The marks on palms of people are inherent and they are not created by men. In addition; they also change frequently giving credence to the Karmik theory proponed by the palmists in India.

As there is no dearth of people having doubts on the efficacy of this complex art of palmistry, there are also many believers that counterbalance the scale. In result Indian palm reading continues to flourish, especially in rural India even today.
