Kevin Konarzewski is a leading professional in the supply chain industry. Kevin Konarzewski is the owner and founder a supply chain company based out of Wake Forest, North Carolina called Complete Inventory Services. Prior to starting his company, Kevin Konarzewski served as the Value Chain Transformation Manager at IBM, the Materials Manager at Honeywell Aerospace, and the Demand Planning Manager at Teleflex. Kevin Konarzewski actively paved his way to a successful career and business venture, and he believes it all started with his education. Kevin Konarzewski was a 1997 graduate of Michigan State University where he obtained his master’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Before that, Kevin Konarzewski was a student at Northern Michigan University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. Kevin Konarzewski often reflects back on the tedious hours he spent preparing for the GRE and wishes he had more insight to help guide him through the studying process. Here Kevin Konarzewski provides insightful tips on how to study and pass the GRE. - Decrease your IQ. Okay, not literally. However, Kevin Konarzewski does suggest that you bring your knowledge back to high school. A lot of the questions that are presented on the GRE include basic quantitative questions that are not difficult, but it may be hard to remember how to solve and answer them. While studying for the exam, Kevin Konarzewski suggests reviewing basic concepts that you learned during your high school math class—this will serve as a huge benefit when taking the exam.
- Study your dictionary. Kevin Konarzewski notes that the quantitative section of the GRE is relatively simple; however, the verbal section is where you will need to utilize your advanced knowledge. This section is not something you can cram for, so if you slept through your college English courses you might be in trouble. Kevin Konarzewski recommends that long before you take the exam, you should be immersing yourself in literature. This will help you get in the habit of distinguishing the meaning of unfamiliar words.
- Take a preparation course. Kevin Konarzewski states that if you can afford to take a preparation course, do it. These classes will serve as a huge advantage come test day. Certified professionals who are highly skilled at taking these exams will coach you through the test process and even equip you with beneficial practice exams.
- Learn to pace yourself. Kevin Konarzewski warns the test is timed and it is beneficial to practice testing under the delegated time constraints.
