Derek Stone Life Coach,Motivational Speaker, hypnotist and pyramid scheme sales man… JULY 31, 2013 POSTED BY BRIAN.S Encountered selling the penny matrix pyramid scheme to Namibians or at least trying too Who is Derek Stone and why would I be writing about him? A great question, truly I did not know who Derek Stone was until a few days ago when he began posting on one of Namibia’s most popular classified facebook pages.https://www.facebook.com/groups/buyorsellnamibia Initially his persistent posts about making an income via the internet just passed me by along with all the other spam. However Derek was different to most spammers and con artists who post on popular pages. Different because even being called a spammer, being informed this was a Namibian page and being told his money making scheme was illegal, well none of that slowed him down one bit. Thats right Derek Stone a life coach from Elgin, Illinois wants you and I in Namibia to invest in his new money making scheme called the penny matrix. Well heres a few facts about that: Derek is not sending you to the official site for the program no he wants you to go this web addresshttp://freecapturepagegenerator.com/display.php?cpid=7242 the actual program if one can call it such is located at http://pennymatrix.com . Why does Derek want you to go to some strange satellite page well so that he can capture you as a personal lead and as such profit from your signing up. This is common enough practice in and of itself to send people to personalized pages for lead generation. However Derek is cheap enough that he has to use a free one, I imagine the cost of a domain and website building would eat into the profit made out of conning people into paying $7 to join a pyramid scheme. www.freecapturepagegenerator.com (A free site to create sales pages so you can spam anywhere without damaging a registered domain or actually having to use your name on the website, very popular with get rich quick scam artists world wide) Derek is a spammer, he has not realized that Namibians do not have paypal accounts and paying small amounts of money overseas is tricky here. Even if you have a credit card that works online and can pay $7 to join the scheme he proposes, the only way you could get paid would be via costly money transfer with western union or bank swift code. This is not very important to these kind of schemes as they pray on peoples desperation and no one accept those at the top of a funnel ever see money anyway. So what is Derek Stone trying to sell me really anyway? I’ll summarize it for you…. Penny matrix scam A scam A scam…. Penny Matrix pays out 100% of its commissions out of membership fees. Along with the fact that no retail products are marketed or sellable by company affiliates, this equates to Penny Matrix fitting the definition of a pyramid scheme. And with the company keeping half the income possible via recruitment into an affiliate’s matrix, not even a marketable pyramid scheme at that. New members rely on recruitment in order to earn commissions and those already in the company rely on new and existing members to continue to pay their monthly memberships in order to get paid. If members stop paying their monthly membership fees, nobody gets paid and the entire scheme falls apart. An argument could be made that the ebook side of things legitimises the Penny Matrix opportunity, however with commissions not dependent on the sale of ebooks and ebooks not being available at a retail level, the ebook side of Penny Matrix serves as nothing more than a token inclusion to attempt to legitimise what is quite obviously a recruitment dependent pyramid scheme. Or as Mike Dodd described it just last Monday on Facebook, a ‘tell 2 friends that tell 2 friends thingy‘. Source So in closing summation the self professed life coach wants you too invest N$70 a month into a program that only requires you convince your friends to invest N$70 a month, when they fool more friends into paying N$70 a month you stand to get paid. All of this hinges on making your friends spend money on something that has no physical product or actual material benefit to the buyer, except the promise of payment. Its a dirty business model which is illegal in Namibia, even when called out on this fact and being told to take his spam scam else place mister Stone remained persistent. For his tireless efforts I thought I would reimburse this fine gentleman with a long standing marketing post that will doubtless join his website http://derekstone.net/ in the google rankings. Helping to shed light on the many facets and tireless business ethic and entrepreneurial spirit of the man. If you cannot sell it on Craigs list give it a shot in Africa….. Having now interacted with Dereks posts, I am seeing a lot more of them, some more domains he uses in attempt to sell his pyramid scam. Alternatively you may also receive a link to this location via one of Dereks many posts http://yournewmoneymaker.info/ this is a nice upgrade as here he employs an actual .info web domain. Exactly the same content as the site above though, same lead generation program, same scam. Another page he is sharing with the world http://easymoneydaily.net/ note the identical content, this is typical of spam. http://easycashtree.info/ I am personally seeing a pattern now.
