DISTREE Asia-Pacific (APAC) 2013 is all set to kick off from November 12 to 14 in Singapore. The three-day event features a packed conference programme, tackling some of the major issues impacting the development of the region’s ICT and consumer electronics (CE) retail channel. The conference includes a panel discussion entitled “The Future for APAC Retail Channels” on the morning of Wednesday, the 13th November. Confirmed panellists include Igor Pezzilli, CEO at Lazada (Malaysia); Lee Scott, Group Merchandising Manager, Leading Edge (Australia); and Subhash Chandra, Chairman & Managing Director, Sangeetha Mobiles (India), plus senior retail executives from Singapore. Ashish Kapahi, Event Director for DISTREE Asia-Pacific, said, Bringing together retailers from across the region to explore common channel issues can offer real insight. The presence of hundreds of vendor, distributor and retailer executives in one place at one time gives delegates an opportunity to look at the bigger picture and work together towards positive solutions. The DISTREE APAC conference programme includes a series of Channel Academy workshop sessions, hosted by industry experts and channel consultants. All participating delegates can register to attend these sessions, giving them access to the latest market data and insight into changing channel business models.
