For this, there is a locking blade mechanism which prevents the blade to close or fold automatically. So there is no chance of the blade getting closed on its own or on wrong interference. There are also no chances of the blade folded on pressure from the opposite site of the blade. In case, one needs to close the knife, she or he has to do it manually.
