Titanium, a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22 is basically a lustrous transition metal with a silver color. It has low density and high strength. Moreover it is highly resistant to corrosion from sea water, aqua regia and chlorine. This is 9th most abundant metal present in earth crust as well as found all living organism, rocks, water bodies and soils. Beside the natural form, Titanium has 26 known isotopes ranging from Ti-38 to Ti-63 with five stable isotopes with atomic masses 46-50. Of which the most abundant isotope is Ti-48, accounting for 73.8% of all natural titanium. Titanium can be prudently alloyed with iron, aluminium, vanadium, molybdenum, among other elements, to produce strong lightweight alloys are further incorporated in aerospace (jet engines, missiles, spacecraft), military, industrial process (chemicals, petro-chemicals, desalination plants, paper), automotive, agri-food, medical prostheses, orthopedic implants, dental and endodontic instruments and files, dental implants, sporting goods, jewelry, mobile phones, and other applications. Beside this, the Titanium had two most important properties like corrosion resistance and strength-to- weight ratio.
