Unlike normal shoes, the 6 inch heels require you to take smaller steps. The distance between the tip of the foot and the heel is smaller than normal, therefore the distance you travel with one step is shorter. When you’re taking your first steps, remember that you’re going to go toes-first into the ground, rather than heel first, and you have to be careful at all times not to lose your balance. Something to remember is that you might have to walk up and down star cases in these shoes. Again, the same rules apply for walking up and down hill. The body weight is shifted away from the foot that moves forward until it lands on its destination. This is an almost seamless motion that you will learn to do in time, and make sure that you have a solid railing to hold on to when practicing going up and down stairs. You will have to go against your natural reflexes at times, because of the fact that the body is confused by the directions in which it has to maintain balance. This is something that you will get used to, and you will start walking on your high heels soon enough. These heels are not for the weak, and they can make a woman stand out as being more powerful, more in control of the situation, and stronger than her counterparts.
