Relief for Sore Muscles: Do you want relief from Sore Muscles and Joints? |

There are literally hundreds of products that claim to help with relief from sore muscles and the relief of pain for sore muscles and joints. I have been fighting pain for years. I am 53 years old and have been very active physically. Because of all the sports I have played and the running I have done as well as carrying heavy weights on my body, my knees and joints have worn down considerably. I used to take 800 milligrams of Ibuprofen three times a day for the sore muscles and joints specifically in my knees, neck and back. I just assumed I was going to have to accept the pain and live with it. A few years ago, my wife started using essential oils. I acted like any man and asked, “What are you spending our money on now?” To me it was just more money going down the drain. I called the oils “snake oil” as a sarcastic way of saying it is a waste of our money and won’t do any good. Since I have used many different health products, I was convinced this was just another product that would make little if any difference. I also tried every over the counter remedy and even had my daughter get some cream from another country that claimed to be better than anything in the United States. After a couple of months of my sarcasm about the essential oils, I finally succumbed to my wife’s encouraging me to use the oils. If I told you how immediate the results were, you would not believe me. Especially if you are like me and you have tried everything the doctor prescribed as well as all the over-the-counter stuff, you will think this is just another person trying to make money off something that doesn’t work. I used an essential oil blend called “Deep Blue.” The oil blend contains Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Blue Tansy, German Chamomile, Helichrysum, and Osmanthus. These essential oils have natural medicinal properties that help the body deal with your pain. Wintergreen is a natural analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic. Camphor is a natural pain-reliever as well as an anti-inflammatory. It is found to be useful for arthritis, rheumatism, muscle aches, sprains and even bruises. Peppermint is also an anti-inflammatory to damaged tissues and has a soothing and cooking affect that helps arthritis and rheumatism. It is also said to be beneficial for fatigue, cramps, Charley Horses, tennis elbow and tendinitis. Tansy, again is an anti-inflammatory and a natural pain-reliever. German Chamomile is found to be pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, an antioxidant and helps with joint health and arthritis. Helichrysum is beneficial to the circulatory system and helps with healing of the joints and muscles. In nature it has been found to be a powerful anti-inflammatory. It is used for tendinitis, tissue pain and repair. Lastly, Osmanthus in Chinese medicine, it is used to reduce phlegm and remove blood stasis. All of these powerful oils are in one blend and come together to be a tremendous treatment for muscle and joint pain. It is important to note that these oils are pure and certified therapeutic. That means they are guaranteed to have the medicinal properties and chemical compounds that are natural to them. This is significant because most oils are not therapeutic and the ones that are, are not certified. Certified Therapeutic means they have gone to a scientific lab, been tested under a microscope several times to ensure the chemical compounds “mother nature” meant to be in them has still been maintained. Why are they not widely used today? Because most oils are used for fragrances and the medicinal properties have been copied by pharmaceutical companies making them a synthetic product which the body doesn’t like. This brings about side effects that are uncomfortable and sometimes very damaging. You will not find any instruction on these bottles that say, “Must be taken with food.” Nor will there be a list of side effects.
