The struggle for the Knicks early this season are causing people to point fingers in hopes of trying to explain why the team is performing as bad as they are right now. And even if there are good coaches available, seeing how the management replaced their coach this early in the season would make those candidates worry about the security of the job that they are going into. The Owner Another target of the blame is the owner of the team itself of which I think that despite a douche, isn't really someone to blame for the bad game. Although I agree that James Dolan hasn't helped with building a championship-caliber team, it really is not his fault that the team is playing worse than their current talent. Also, even if it is indeed his fault, you can't fire him as the owner and you'll just have to accept the inconvenient reality of it all. It's not like him being on the team is making all the other guys bad. And even if he did, nobody's going to take his stupidly outrageous contract.
