Here are some tips . 1. Rule of thumb typeface design: Web is a collection of texts. Always make texts that are bold and easy to read. San serif typefaces work amazingly well for headlines because they are stark and easy to read at larger sizes. If you have loads of text, opt for serif typeface. Make the font size large, say at least a 16 px minimum and eliminate any lines that are more than 50-60 characters long. 2. Link Logo to Home Page: Your logo should be noticed and prominently located on your site. Use a high-resolution image and feature it in the upper left corner of each of your pages. Do not forget to link your logo back to your home page, so it is easy for visitors to navigate. 3. Good things come in three For a great web design, when you pick colors, work with less colors, and avoid going crazy with colors.
