I play golf 5-6 times a year. I usually play around 100, but not a 100 with 9 bogeys and 9 double bogeys. I really liked the Callaway RAZR X Irons. They made the contact feel better and was it more consistent. It is very easy to hit straight shots, and even got a little draw going when required, and hardly any slices. Not too bad out of the rough either. I love the look and feel. I got fitted for a set of Razr X - got the ball up with a nice, effortless swing; but have kept my older irons so far. I'm taking lessons to improve consistency, will wait until later to decide on irons. I like to hit a little fade with my long and mid irons a abit of a draw with my short irons and I can pull these shots of with these irons but If you want to point and shoot.. thats where the Razr x irons shine. Green finding machines !! Forgot to add the stepped sole of these irons is simply fantastic from all lies they play much better the the wide soled g15 or g20 irons. Had these in the bag when I won our senior club championship. I up-graded from the Callaway X-24 Hot Irons for Sale to the RAZR X irons and am not disappointed. As oversized irons go, the Callaway RAZR X irons were a nice size and the top line was confidence inspiring without being too thick. They were also very forgiving to hit with a lovely feel and sound and the uniflex steel shaft helped deliver a powerful strike. The new Razr Technology will lead the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction of a thin sole iron. In my mid 50's now and have lost some yardage. I really thought the Burner 2.0's would be the ticket, but found them long but the distance control was too inconsistant. To sum up, the clubs look good, sound good and have added yards to my shots, dropped my handicap from 15 to 13 since switching. The clubs are very forgiving and I would not hesitate in recommending these clubs to mid-handicappers.
