Imagine yourself in the wilds of Africa. Prowling around, you are a hunter, perhaps even king of the beasts and you are hungry. You see tasty easy to eat food in the middle of the open plains there on the savannah. You start to turn your attention to the attractive packaging of the wilder beast out there in plain sight. But just as you go to dash wildly out into the middle of the open plains, you realise that there is danger. Danger if you dash out there into the middle. Danger, if you, dash wildly and grab for attractive packing and pre-made options.

Truly, danger for you if you too shop in the middle of your hunting ground, in the middle of your supermarket. The key message from this beastly analogy is avoid the middle aisles of your supermarket. They are attractive and full of pre-packaged high calorie options but all they spell for you is danger. They are the aisles to avoid. If you want to help your anti aging and health plans, shop on the outside aisles. Let me explain why.

In those middle aisles are many high calorie options, beginning with sugar, the anti anti aging, Sugar is in almost everything that is packaged, hey, its tastes great, makes you feel satisfied... right. Well, it is that tasty addictive sugar that will physically age you... here's how it works.

There are healthy and unhealthy sugars. First, the healthy sugars, glucose which are found in grains and vegetables, and fructose in fruits and honey. Now, the unhealthy sugars, sucrose know as cane sugar and high fructose corn syrup which are highly refined processed sugars used to enhance favours in commercial foods. So how does the sugar change your appearance in age?

When sugar enters the blood stream it attaches itself to proteins, a process known as glycation, which creates advanced glycation end products (AGEs) that are harmful and damaging to certain proteins. There are many types of proteins which provide the body with structure.

Elastin and collagen proteins are the building blocks of the skin. Collagen is a fibre that keeps your skin smooth firm and elastic. Elastin is a fibre gives the skin flexibility.

When sugar attaches itself to collagen fibre, the fibre becomes weak and brittle, causing wrinkles, sagging and dark circles around the eyes.

During glaytion, inflammation in the body occurs, that could lead to broken capillaries that cause skin to lose its elasticity.

Also, high amounts of sugar cause dehydration in your skin cells, which leads to dryness, swelling and the loss of skin elasticity.

Which aisles will you be shopping in now? Avoid those inside aisles and shop in outside aisles were all the anti aging raw vegetables and fruits are.

So there you have it, a number of ways to combat the,anti aging wrinkles, sagging, dryness, and swelling; • Cut back on the sugar • Eat healthy foods • .. and if you want to reclaim your youthful age learn more about looking younger
