Air filters are made to last at the most three months and should be checked for dirt build up and leaks. If the system has shut down or the compressor stops running, it could also be a fuse issue, in addition to the condensate line. The system will have slight power surge if running often or lose power for a moment, popping the fuse when it comes back on. If your outside unit is not running, open the fuse box to check each fuse with a continuity tester. If one is broken, be sure to replace it with the correct size, as it could shorten out quicker if replaced with the wrong size. Identifying old or damaged overflow pans is another easy fix. If this piece is clogged, it causes majors leaks. It could be as simple as using epoxy glue for small holes and cracks, or purchasing new pan. With a flashlight, inspect the corners, outside, and directly above the wettest spot to determine if it is a smaller or bigger crack, or a hole.
