Callaway's latest revelation is the X2 Hot line of clubs. The Callaway X2 Hot driver is developed to be longer and faster as well as more forgiving for a wide variety of golfers. It is Lydia Ko says's new Callaway Golf Clubs. The standard version contains a 460cc head, offers 9-, 10.5- and 13.5-degree lofts, and comes stock with an Aldila Tour Blue shaft. The Pro version, available in an 8.5-degree offering, is 440cc, features a lower and more neutral center of gravity, and includes a 7-gram external weight and a stock Aldila Tour Green shaft. In addition, players can independently adjust the drivers' loft and lie with Callaway's Advanced Optifit Hosel. The loft can be decreased by 1 degree or increased by up to 2 degrees to help optimize the launch angle and backspin, while the lie angle also can be adjusted between Neutral and Draw. A total of eight settings are available to adjust trajectory and shot shape. Ko, 16, says she sees no tweaks required with her clubs before she defends her title this week at the ISPS Handa New Zealand Women’s Open. “I really like them, they feel good, and I think the change was good,” Ko said. Ko leapt straight to the top of the Rolex Rookie of the Year points list with 59 points, giving her a chance to go wire-to-wire in the ROY points race. Ko showed no signs she'll need time to adjust to her new arrangements. She was typically sharp in her ball striking in the Bahamas. She ranked third in hitting greens in regulation for the week on the Ocean Club Golf Course and was 12th in driving accuracy. She was 33rd in total putts. Ko was playing a mixed bag of clubs before signing with Callaway. She won in Canada last summer playing without a single Callaway club in her bag. She also had some Callaway irons, such as callaway x hot irons. Callaway RAZR Edge Irons, etc.
