I've been playing the Callaway RAZR X Black Driver for the last year. This driver has caught my eye. It's forgiving. It has a nice sound and feel when you hit one off the center. This one is within my price rang. What are your thoughts on it? The Callaway RAZR X Black Driver designed to make the game more enjoyable, delivers unmatched distance, accuracy and ball speed. The sleek, black PVD finished crown is made of the Forged Composite, an advanced carbon material developed in partnership with automaker Lamborghini. This Forged Composite is the most precise, lightest and strongest material either company has used. Compared it with the Callaway Razr Fit driver, which won out because it felt more solid. RX Black a solid club if want something a little lighter. It features Callaway's proprietary SpeedFrame Face Technology. This technology melds Callaway's VFT and Hyperbolic Face advancements, creating increased ball speeds and a larger sweet spot. Someone close to me had the chance to goto an outside business and try all the new drivers against each other, he ended up walking home with the RaZR. My GF's did the same and ended up with a Taylormade R1 driver, both are pretty solid clubs this year. Offered in four different lofts, 8.5°, 9.5°, 10.5° and 11.5°, the face angle of the Callaway RAZR X Black driver changes to specifically suit the loft. In my opinion, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the new adjustable drivers, but it's well worth the price.
