The BMW GS Dry Gloves have been a staff favorite here for quite some time for their construction, features and excellent GS or touring style. The gloves are waterproof, windproof and breathable thanks to a Gore-Tex membrane laminate into the glove. This three-layer process, called X-Trafit, is the way multiple layers are bonded together. Anyone who in the past has inadvertently pulled part of a waterproof lining out of a glove when their hands were wet, and tried to stuff the sopping wet lning back into the fingers (anyone got a popsicle stick?), will really appreciate the X-TRAFIT process…as the liner stays put as intended. Numerous protective features have been incorporated into the glove. There are padded ridges along the back of the fingers and a hard shell over the knuckles. The hard shell is fabric-covered to keep the glove from being too “Power Ranger” in appearance. The palm area of the glove is leather while the ball of the palm uses foam padded SuperFabric. As with other BMW gloves, there are additional leather layers along the more impact prone areas such as the edge of each high-quality Carbon fiber helmets. In daily use, the GS Dry Gloves are extremely styling, comfortable and waterproof. They are available in colors complementing the GS Dry and Rallye suits.
