Ping says that distance, forgiveness and a high trajectory distinguish the ping g30 steel irons from its competition. Progressive lengths and stronger lofts, plus a lower centre of gravity and more perimeter weighting, are said to combine for a three-to-seven-yard increase over the ping g25 steel irons. They are the latest offering in the G line of clubs. Like its predecessors, the G30 irons are game improvement clubs. This means they are designed to promote a higher launch angle, increase distance, and maximize forgiveness; everything I'm looking for in an iron. While the long irons are designed for maximum distance and forgiveness, the short irons focus more on consistency. The face of the short irons are actually slightly thicker so that the clubs have a softer feel. For those players looking for help in getting the ball airborne and keeping it there, the G30 fits the bill. Fast swingers will get something out of them, too, but there’s more on offer for your mid-to-slow swingers who struggle with inconsistency. The thinner face means more weight is placed at the edges. Combine that with a longer blade length and you’ve got an iron that offers loads of stability through the hit. These ping g20 steel irons are all about accuracy and distance. I like to hit high g30 iron shots that land softly on the greens. I also like to know that when I miss the center of the clubface, I'll still be able to get the ball somewhere near the vicinity of my target. With the added blade length you really feel like you can’t miss. These golf clubs for sale are long too – very long – but you can’t help but wonder how much of that is down to the stronger lofts and longer shafts.
