It provides accurate rangefinder and hold offs on very small targets at quite long distances. Elevation and windage adjustments of the same riflescope are capped and available in 1/4 MOA click value only.The difference is observed in low light situations. Optical indexing is done by hand for each Nightforce Riflescope lens perfectly. AllNight force products go through a rugged pre-production stage and are tested in a pressure tank simulating 100ft of water for 24 hrs, ensuring absolute waterproofing integrity. To test the thermal stability of the product they first freeze the products to -80F and then heating them to 160F within a one hour period. Function is checked at both temperature extremes. Recoil and impact testing for positive and negative forces is conducted at 1250Gs.
