Sohrab and many others waiting there said that the crashed plane was very old.
"I am waiting to receive the body of my colleague. He was from Jalalabad city in eastern Nangarhar province but martyred in plane crash in the north of the country," said a young man, who refused to give his name.

So far, 13 sacks full of remains of the victims have been taken to the hospital. And the authorities have not allowed anyone to get access to the bodies.
While the saddened and crying people were insisting they see the bodies of their kin, an official with the hospital Abdul Bashir Shirzad announced that they need one or two more days to identify the bodies.
He also added that the search and rescue operation may take two more days due to the difficult terrain. However, the announcement further added to the grief of the heartbroken people.
