Over the years vitamin and mineral supplements have received a bad press in mainstream media through research claims from conventional medicine that they are ineffective, while recommending people should not buy them. Mainstream media published studies concluding that vitamin and mineral supplements are ineffective have rarely been challenged by the targeted public because most people lack the knowledge in medical science. They are apt to readily accept how the study was carried out and why it made its conclusions. Further, people are apt to accept the mainstream media as a voice for so-called authorities such as those from the medical establishment without ever questioning. However, what happens then, after public domain research like this is published, experts having knowledge of vitamins and minerals scrutinize the work. They take the research and pull it apart by highlighting the flaws, with all the bad science... concluding that the study's claim over the ineffectiveness of the vitamin and mineral supplements in question was incorrect. There is a hidden ulterior motive here. The public don't realize that conventional medicine is a wing of the medical / pharmaceutical establishment. They don't want the public to use effective vitamin and mineral supplements because this undercuts their business. So they sponsor biased research with all the flaws in the studies to falsely claim ineffectiveness to put the public off from buying. Vitamin and mineral companies have bitten back. Some have sued those responsible for the bad research and false claims. For example, Doctor Joel Wallach has sued the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) on 2 separate occasions. One was over the claim that selenium supplementation can reduce breast, lung and colon cancers by over 80%. The other was over the claim that essential fatty acids totally prevent thrombosis (stroke). Doctor Wallach won both cases because these 2 claims are true as shown by good science. In fact, by quite a lot of good supporting science! Think of the damage done by bad science for the hidden ulterior motive of profit over genuine welfare concern. How many people had they known the truth could have been a lot healthier had they realized that vitamin and mineral supplements do work This hidden agenda of the medical / pharmaceutical establishment covering up the effectiveness of vitamin and mineral supplements has been going on for many years. However, more and more people are slowly waking up and realizing that there is a hidden ulterior motive. The upshot of all this is to learn to discern. Do recognise that the medical / pharmaceutical establishment paid off mainstream media publish bad science to deliberately put you off and keep you in ignorance over the effectiveness of cheap and natural non-toxic, non-invasive vitamins and minerals.
