Do you hate cooking? Do you get nausea if you are to cook a meal for party or just for your family? Or is your cook on leave and you need to prepare a meal? All these questions would bump into your head if you are an amateur in cooking. Icing on the cake gets when you need to bake, as it requires more expertise. If you are an amateur and don’t want the food to get burnt, then it is advised to make use of Silpat mats. These mats are the best way of baking without spoiling the taste of the food. Among the Silpat recipes, here is one recipe which would tempt the guests to ask for more. Crescent Rolls Ingredients: • 1 1/2 cups of milk • 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon sugar • 2 sticks unsalted butter, divided • 1 egg • 1 tablespoon salt • 2 tablespoons yeast • 2 cups warm water • 9-10 cups all purpose flour Directions: 1. In Flexipan Round Mold, add milk, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 stick of butter cut up, and microwave for 2 minutes. Add 2 cups of flour then add egg and salt. Leave it to cool for 2-3 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, dissolve yeast in 2 cups of warm water and 1 tablespoon sugar. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes until it is bubbly. Once the milk mixture is just warm, add yeast mixture. Place entire mixture into a very large bowl. 3. Using spatula, stir the remaining 8 cups of flour, adding 2 cups at a time and stirring in between. Mix by hand when needed. Once dough is smooth cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place and let rise. Let dough raise until it has doubled in size, about 1 hour. 4. Place dough onto Roul'Pat and divide into 4 even balls. Using one ball at a time, roll dough into a circle and spread top with butter. Cut the dough into quarters using cake knife then cut each quarter into 3 pieces, creating 12 triangles of dough. 5. Roll each triangle beginning with the wide end and place on Silpat atop Perforated Baking Sheet, tucking the tail under the roll. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Let rolls rise until preheated and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. While they're still hot run a stick of butter over tops for a delicious glaze.
