Variant Colors of Topaz Gem

Fashion & Cosmetics
When you talk about topaz you mostly remember a bright sparkling blue gem called topaz but it is not originally known as the color of topaz. Blue shade is given to this gem through lab processing but it is originally known to be colorless. It resembles diamond in its original form. People looking for any cheaper alternative for diamond choose topaz in its original form. Topaz has other natural hues as well and here is a brief description of them.

Shaman Topaz

Shaman topaz is enchanting and the strange fact about it is that many people do not know it exists. The multihued color of this gem has a high appeal. This hue is also not a natural creation exactly like blue topaz. White topaz which is in pure natural form is run in lab through a process in which it is brushed with titanium. It is a very fine thin coating which is completed with high care. Then natural refraction of the stone is changed; beautiful multi colors reflect from the stone at this point. The shining effect enables dazzling of the primary colors in the stone: green, blue and yellow. For two reasons this gem is getting popular fast for engagement rings – it’s stunningly beauty and has a cheap price. It equals diamond for its elegance but in price, it is very wallet friendly.

Cerulean Topaz:

People born in December have the pride of wearing this stone and benefitting from it greatly. Cerulean topaz has three different shades; each depicts its own unique beauty. Naturally created cerulean topaz is rarely found. It is created. Heat process in the lab helps creating the variations of cerulean. Careful lab heating brings about a navy blue shade, light blue, and Swiss blue. The navy blue topaz has a great resemblance to sapphire

Neutral Topaz:

Natural and untreated – topaz is originally found in no-color state. But the high level of its spark and brightness is mistaken for diamond; especially for those who do not have much knowledge and experience of gems. Retail markets always have an ample amount of topaz with them because it is a comparatively cheaper semiprecious stone. Its elegance attracts people and its cheap price convinces them to buy it. If you are planning to fix it in your engagement ring, beware of one fact that it is a sensitive stone and easily get scratched or goes smoky. Extra amount of care is needed like polishing etc for retaining its beauty and flawlessness. There are many alternatives to topaz like zircon and sapphire.

Being a semi-precious stone, many different color forms of it are available. You can find yellow, brown and orange. It is affordable and very reasonably priced. You can get it embedded in your engagement ring. Enjoying topaz jewelry depends on the sort of piece of jewelry you choose for yourself. Some designs make the stone looks more vibrant, you need to choose those designs and styles only that look highly elegant and suitable for wearing on occasions like ceremonies and wedding parties. There are big stones and tiny stones as well but as far as elegance and shine are concerned, it can be found in any size of gem if its natural state and formation is flawless and mature.

Topaz is also used in silpada jewelry, you can see silpada jewelry products having Topaz in silpada jewelry catalog
