Other review site that is trusted by many is Zomata.com, here you can find reviews of hotels, bars and restaurants etc. So if you do not know about the best hotels in that city of your visit then you can simply check out some of the good review sites with active users. Another of the recommended and pretty simple way would be to Google search terms like best hotels in followed city name. When you visit a hotel’s website most of the sites would have a picture gallery or something similar to showcase their best rooms which should give you a fair idea of the interiors and décor of their rooms. Its not just the rooms for which you can find images you can also have a look at their restaurant and bar areas if the images have been posted on their website. Many a times if a hotel has a good website it is an indication that they have a reasonably good hotel as well, you can also call up the hotel on the given contact number and talk to the person on the help desk or reception. The way the person on the help desk or reception greets you also gives you an indication of the courtesy and service offered by the hotel. If you are a frequent traveler on behalf of a company you work in or have a business that needs you to travel many times then you can ask business friends or work place colleagues to tip you on a good hotel according to your budget. Once you have zeroed in on to the hotel that you feel you’d like to make a booking then just go ahead. Visit their website or if they do not have a website then give them a call and make a reservation. A reservation would not be valid until you make a payment. If the hotel does not have a payment facility on their website then you will have to deposit the initial payment in their bank account and ask for a receipt and booking confirmation from the hotel authorities.
