Latest norm in technology trend is Cloud computing and which has gradually become the talk of all enterprises. This is the new mantra for technology evolution to become agile and more competitive in the market. Leading companies in the European and American countries has become more prone to fast computing, work mobility and data security and ,so, they were more keen to adapt Cloud. Whereas, companies in the Asian region are more of a concern in many factors like internet connectivity, bandwidth quality, privacy, government regulation, power generation and consumption, Intellectual Property Rights protection, business sophistication, data center risk and freedom of information. These factors resists the development of Cloud adoption despite being economically advanced nation. Cloud Infrastructure providers like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure in particular have ensured their server locations across the world as defined in zones. AWS management services made EC2 available in Asia Pacific locations like Singapore (Launched in 2010), Sydney ( Launched in 2012), Tokyo (Launched in 2011), Beijing ( about to launch). AWS provide Edge locations for Content Distribution Network (CDN) services at Chennai, India, HongKong, China (2), Manila, the Philippines, Melbourne, Australia, Mumbai, India, Osaka, Japan, Seoul, Korea (2), Singapore (2), Sydney, Australia, Taipei, Taiwan, Tokyo, Japan (2). Amazon has selected these zones articulately to cater to the data center requirements and the host country's adaptability to Cloud Computing. Similarly, Microsoft Azure too opted few Asian locations for its data centers. Azure has followed the zones as East Asia (HongKong), Southeast Asia (Singapore), Japan East (Saitama Prefecture), Japan West (Osaka Prefecture), Australia East (New South Wales), Australia Southeast (Victoria), also entered China by partnering with 21Vianet. When a Cloud adaptability index is formulated based on the factors mentioned above for a sustainable Cloud Infrastructure services, we discover that very few countries like Singapore, Hongkong, Japan and South Korea are qualified out of all the countries in Asia. Non adaptability should not be mistaken with lack of proactiveness or hesitant to move to new technology. Some of the countries are lagging in government's technical and regulatory compliances to facilitate Cloud computing. Asia is the fastest growing next emerging region for Cloud Infrastructure providers as the Cloud computing decreases the cost of managing applications and information resources. Most of the countries in Asia are developing and need the cost management benefits and world class computing standards to compete with competitors globally. China has ensured data privacy and Cloud security at all levels. Any global Cloud Infrastructure company has to partner with a Chinese company to enter the market and deliver its services. Amazon has to create its data centers in China to cater to the Chinese companies and meet the Chinese government compliance. AWS consulting partner were created to provide support to clients on Amazon's behalf. Partners increases its reachability to the geography without even AWS presence. Some companies in Asian countries also avail AWS management on their own without even the presence of the consulting partners. Similarly, other infrastructure companies get benefited like Amazon even though established in American or European countries.
