What Can You Actually Do For Carpet Cleaning of Soy Sauce Stain

Home Improvement,Family & Parenting,Health
Purchasing a rug is easy enough but keeping it nice and clean can be a real challenge. You would have to worry about spills and stains which can instantly make the rug ugly and unappealing.

Sometimes you just find yourself faced with certain types of drawbacks and situations. One of the most common types of problems you can find yourself faced with is spilled soy sauce, and the resulting stains specially over your priced carpet

A very common problem that rug owners have to deal with is getting soy sauce stains all over their rugs. Soy sauce is a very popular condiment often used together with many different kinds of food. It improves the taste of the food as it gives a unique flavor to it. Sadly, while people use the soy sauce there are instances that they inadvertently spill it all over their rugs at home. This can be a real mess which can frustrate many homeowners.

While removing soy sauce stains may seem to be a bit difficult, if you use the proper methods it is anything but. Now, the directions listed here are designed to help you remove the stains if you have a soy sauce stain in your carpeting you may need to use a different method to remove the stain.

The number one thing to know about removing a soy sauce stain is act fast - time is of the essence with carpet stain removal.

1. Try to remove as much of the spilled soy sauce on the rug by using a clean paper towel to absorb the liquid. Do this repeatedly until you have removed as much of the soy sauce as you can.

2. Next, add a few drops of water onto the stain that is left behind by the soy sauce spill. The water will help dilute the stain so that it will not immediately set. Get another piece of paper towel and then blot the area a couple of times before moving to the next step.

3. Use a combination of one part dish washing liquid and four parts of warm water to create a very simple yet effective cleaning solution that will help you in removing the stain. After you have the cleaning solution ready, apply a few drops of it onto the stain and then let it stand for two minutes.

4. Grab a clean white cloth and then slowly blot the soy sauce stain on your rug. This is going to cause the stain to transfer from the surface of the rug onto the cloth. Continue doing this until the entire soy sauce stain is removed.

5. After you have removed the stain, the last step is to flush out any residue that could potentially get left behind. Pour a glass of room temperature water onto the area you cleaned and then dry it thoroughly using a clean towel. This will surely get rid of the unwanted residue and your rug will be clean and spotless once again.

You will need to test the fabric before you actually use the complete cleaning method. Do this by simply testing a part of the fabric that won't be easily seen, and then watch what happens. If you notice any of the fabric becoming faded looking, or looking like it is getting "eaten away" then you will need to use a different method.
