It is a huge loss for India – the passing away of APJ Abdul Kalam, not only as demise of a former President but as a multi-disciplinary strategist who had endowed India with remarkable sense of self-pride and honour from past many decades. He was a great orator as well, throughout his life he dedicated to the cause of inspiring and motivating students across country starting from the primary level to the University level. He wrote many books as about his experiences and achieving higher objectives for a better country. He failed to become a pilot and became a scientist instead. Started his career designing a small helicopter and reached to developed a cheap stent for the heart and a rugged tablet computer, in the midst of everything, APJ Abdul Kalam steered India’s space, missile and nuclear programs. He gave India an all encompassing and futuristic solution to technology and space domain. APJ is no more but his legacy will live forever. He wore too many names in his life- mentor to scientists, promoter of rural development, and consultant to heads of states and institutions and exceptional nuclear development strategist.
