So many businesses put great value in the look of their working environment. Thousands of pounds (or in some cases, hundreds of thousands) can be spent to make the aesthetics pleasant, appealing and/or dynamic to staff and visitors. Many corporates will have a totally colour coordinated reception area, with walls, floors, reception desks and lighting beautifully matched or contrasted. Image is king. Typically retail businesses like Hair Salons will create an alluring and engaging interior to impress customers and attract passing trade. Dental surgeries often create a very clean and clinical look interior. What is so common is that many businesses that choose not to have certain colours or types of products on show that do not blend in with the interior environment, still allow a boxy white watercooler to stand out like a sore thumb! It’s as though that they reluctantly accept that there is no other option for this piece of essential equipment. See how often you go into a business like an Estate Agents, or Health Spa, and see a watercooler placed totally out of sync with the rest of the interior. Well things are slowly changing in the watercooler industry. Water dispensers are now designed and available in different colours and in different sizes. A smaller watercooler that houses an 11 litre size bottle (normal size is 18.5 litres) is perfect for reception areas. These machines are available in a whole range of colour choices such as jet black, cream and silver, and even available with beech wood effect sides. They can also be made with metallic look panels. Certain makes of watercoolers can now also be branded in corporate colours, logo’s or message. This can then project this piece of equipment as a feature within the work environment offering a clean healthy product as a company logoed machine. Almost everything is now possible with water dispensers – Images and Photo collages can be digitally printed on to vinyl and applied on watercoolers as a part or full wrap. Plastic “Stainless steel” looking watercoolers are an inexpensive option for creating something a little bit different to the “white box” machine, and if budget has no limits, there are real solid stainless steel watercoolers available for that ultimate premium look. Prices for these bespoke coolers can vary according to the requirement. Branding is surprisingly inexpensive with costs not normally exceeding £100 extra for this work. So, if you have spent a lot of time and money creating “your company brand”, don’t compromise with the watercooler. It’s time to ditch the boxy white thing and get a watercooler that represents your business and proudly promotes the healthiness of quality drinking water for your team and customers!
