Easy Way of Preserving and Preparing Home-Made Pita Bread in Melbourne without Yeast

Food & Beverages
An Insight into Pita Bread

Pita bread in Melbourne is a good choice for a tasty yet healthy diet. It is a smooth flatbread baked from wheat flour which resembles Central Asian ‘nun’ and pizza crust. It is used for preparation of spicy items at home and is served at just before every meal in most of the Mediterranean as well as Middle-East nations.

Food storage- how to preserve pita breads?

For long-term storage, refrigerator is not recommended as pita bread may quickly dry out and become stale. So, what you can do is store them at room temperature at the moment after keeping it tightly closed in an original, plastic bag and then later you can freeze the pita bread in freezer bags. Freezer time is only shown for the best quality bread (those kept at 0°C constantly). Improper storage can make your pita bread dehydrated, hard as well as easily fragile.

However, check for bakery outlets certified for compliance with general food safety plans.

Time taken to prepare 12 pitas:

The time taken to prepare 12 pitas is about 40 to 45 minutes, which also includes letting dough sit.

Ingredients:

• 3 cups of plain flour

• 300 ml of warm water

• 2 tablespoons of salt

• 1 and half cup of milk

• 7 Souvlaki pita bread Melbourne

• 4 tablespoons of olive oil (vegetable oil)

• 100 grams of butter

• Half a teaspoon of sesame seeds

• Half a teaspoon of nigella seeds or black cumin

• Rosemary herbs (optional)

Preparation of home-made pita bread in Melbourne without yeast: 6 easy steps

Step 1: First, take a large bowl to blend the flour with two tablespoons of salt, 1 and half cup of milk and 100 grams of butter well. If you want you can add some rosemary herbs on it.

Step 2: Then, slowly add water and 4 tablespoons of olive oil to the flour and mix to soft and sturdy dough. Make sure that the dough isn’t very dry. (If it is too sticky, then add more water)

Step 3: Now, cover the bowl and allow resting for 40 minutes at room temperature.

Step 4: Next, cut the dough into 7 equal pieces and roll them into balls to about half inch thickness according to how large you want your pitas to be.

Step 5: After that, put the dough on a paper-lined baking paper and brush or spray with water to give a glossy look and then sprinkle the pita bread with both the sesame and nigella seeds.

Step 6: Finally, pre-heat your baking paper in the brick micro-oven at 200°Centigrade or 400° Fahrenheit for minimum15 minutes or until the tester comes out clean. The pita bread Melbourne needs as much heat as fast as possible.

Now, it is ready to serve. Serve it with soups and appetizers. This is extremely time-saving.

So, if you are thinking of preparing home-made made pita bread without yeast soon, then keep a good stock of these pita breads from Pita bread suppliers in Melbourne or collect delicious pita bread from your nearest retail shop in Melbourne. Just try out for something different!
