Paperwork can take a bit to process, so starting this early, or at least finding out what paperwork you need to fill out, will help the process along significantly. So start paying off those bills if you haven't already. Don't close out any accounts, since that can actually lower your available credit and reflect a bit poorly on you. Only spend as much as what you have in the bank and pay everything off immediately. Using credit cards but paying them off right away is the fastest way to boost your credit. A List of Must-Haves There are always several home or properties on the market, no matter the season, so it is a good idea to have an idea in your head about what you definitely want before you talk to your Realtor. If all you are really set on is the price, then that doesn't narrow the field down very well for your Realtor and you'll end up wasting a lot of your time.
