Some homeowners realize when it’s too late that their swimming pools are cloudy and yet they have an event scheduled; they keep wondering what they may not have done correctly. Correct swimming pool maintenance just requires some balance. You need an expert residential pool service technician who will know the correct amount of sanitizer, the pH balance, enough water movement, brushing and vacuuming and you will have a pool that will not embarrass you. Sanitizer and water movement: It is an open secret that stagnant water will easily become the breeding ground for all manner of bacteria and microorganisms of all kinds. This may be desirable if you have a pond but not when you are discussing a swimming pool. What’s more, humans will also introduce other types of bacteria into the pool as well as different oils and occasional food particles. You may be able to fish out food particles because they are visible but not the bacteria. The best way to combat any bacterial assault in the swimming pool is to hire a weekly pool maintenance service provider who will know the right type of sanitizer that will kill all bacteria and also control the growth of algae. The correct chemical compounds need to be added to the water on a regular basis especially during summer so they can remain in optimal levels that can prevent the multiplication of bacteria. When you allow the sanitizer levels to drop for just a few days, you will find that your pool will start turning cloudy. Pool cleaning experts routinely conduct super chlorinating or shocking for pools so as to burn any residual algae or bacteria. The pool pump: You may have introduced the best sanitizers into your swimming pool but you need a method through which you will circulate the sanitizer and filter all the debris that will have accumulated. This is where your pool pump and the filter come into play. In the ideal sense, the pump needs to operate for about 10 hours daily and much more if your sanitizer isn’t being circulated enough. Whenever there is a serious problem about the circulation of the sanitizer, you may be dealing with another problem such as poor circulation or pump malfunction. You need to ask for pool pump service or visit a pool supply store so as to make sure it does its work optimally. If the pool water is still cloudy even after you have put in enough sanitizer and the pool pump is working well, there may still be a few other causes that may require some simple remedies. The filter is responsible for the removal of particular particles from inside the pool water in what is called polishing. A dirty or clogged filter will not do its job correctly. Your residential pool maintenance service provider will check the pressure gauge of the filter and they can tell if it is working optimally.
