Dress For The Weather Conditions Since the weather is colder at the Canyon in the winter, you'll want to dress in layers. A sweater will keep you comfortable during your flight in a climate-controlled helicopter. But if you plan to take a landing tour and walk around the Canyon, it's a good idea to take along a warm jacket too.
