Let’s book cheap flights to Macau to explore the Las Vegas of the East. Macau is one of two provincial-level special administrative areas of the People's Republic of China. It borders Guangdong to the north, the Pearl River Delta to the west, and the South China Sea to the east and the south. Its economy heavily depends on casinos and tourism, as well as manufacture. July is the hottest month in summer with the average temperature of about 29°C. The coolest month is January with the average temperature of 15 °C. Macau has an ample rainfall. However, due to the influence of the vast Siberian High, winter in Macau is dry and cold. Autumn lasts from October to November with sunny and pleasantly weather and lower humidity. The prolonged winter starts from December to early March, the winter weather is usually quite mild and the temperature is above 13°C, although sometimes the temperature can drop below 8°C. The humidity starts to increase from last March. Summer weather is quite hot and often up to 30 °C and often appears the heavy rains, storms and occasional tropical storms. Therefore, tourists should pay attention to the weather before booking flights to Macau. Tourist attractions in Macau Macau Tower is the highest building in Macau as well as one of members of the World Federation of Great Towers. The tower has 338m high. The 58th floor with the height of 223m is an ideal place to contemplate the view of the city and Zhu Jiang (Pearl River Delta) from the above. Particularly, there is 360 Café in the tower serving buffet lunch and dinner, as well as rich cuisines of India, Portugal, and Macau. It also has thrilling games for those who like adventure as skyjump, outdoor walk... From the restaurant, tourists can enjoy the delicious meal while watching beautiful cityscape. The St Paul’s Ruins is a famous attraction in Macau. It was built in the 17th century with the unique combination of many architectural schools. Its facade was completed by Japanese parishioners and local artisans under the direction of Italian architect, Carlo Spinola. The church was built of marble according to the Pale architecture of ancient Greece. The front consists of 5 floors, the walls on each floor are statues, the right and left sides are the pillars. Other tourist attractions should not to be missed such as Playboy Nightclub located on the top of Sand - luxury hotel and casino famous, Senado Square located in the central area of Macau peninsula and magnificent Ama Temple - the oldest temple in Macau with unique ancient architecture of Chinese culture, Lisboa casino - a superlative big casino in Macau. Airports in Macau Currently, Macau International Airport is the only airfield in Macau serving directly daily flights to/ from this land. Tourists can easy book flights from Macau at Macau International Airport, also cheap flights to North East Asia, South East Asia, and other continents. Flights from Macau to Vietnam have stops at two major airports in Vietnam including Da Nang International Airport (Da Nang City) and Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi). Other useful information - When shopping or dining in Macau, tourists should carefully ask price before purchasing. Guests should go shopping in shops granted license or logo clearly "Certified Shop" because they are reputable shops. - Many shops accept credit cards (Visa or Master Card). When paying for goods or anything with a credit card, tourists should check carefully receipts, retain the receipt or purchase invoice and check right away to see the name, address and phone number of store, or restaurant, or hotel on the bills. - Major currencies used in Macau are Hong Kong dollar, Yuan (China), and Macanese Pataca (MOP), they all have an equal value. Tourists should change their money into one of three types of currency when traveling to Macau. - Macau is considered one of world’s casino centers, so local people can speak several languages, especially Chinese, English, and Portuguese. - Trishaw - a form of cyclo in Macau is an interesting means of transportatin to get around city. - To avoid unwanted incidents when traveling by taxis in Macau, tourists should pay attention to record the driver's name and car number on the license usually located right next to the meter.
