‘Love it or hate it, I don’t care’- that’s the most common reply from an Apple user to a non-Apple user who finds it insane to buy smartphones that priced in the range of Rs. 60,000 - Rs. 80,000 and above. Well, I shall say to you what was once told to me - ‘you will never know how it feels, until you own it yourself’. And I realised how true it was after I bought my first iPhone. My love affair with an iPhone started 5 years ago when I bought an iPhone 4 and there has been no looking back since then. I bought iPhone 5 the day it was launched, and am currently using the recently launched iPhone 6. Basically, everything that I loved in my iPhone 4 and 5 is just one thing on my new iPhone 6 - better. Here is a list of things that I absolutely love about my iPhone 6 for the way they help me in my everyday life - It’s thinner than ever. It is also curved which makes it all the more aesthetically appealing. On times when I want to brag to my friends about being at a cooler place than they are, I can do it more effectively than ever as I can add voice, video, and location to any message that I send. No more restrictions on using the phone vertically. The home screen can now be horizontal which makes it easy to hold with both hands and type. I am sure all of you have faced a situation when you can’t get your thumb to the top of the screen as comfortably as to other places on the screen. This phone has a feature called “double tape” which, when selected, changes the display to accommodate your typing. Your thumbs can cover more spots on the screen without having to stretch unnecessarily. Its predictive keyboard comprehends and remembers my conversation style. Its 44.7-inch display is just the right size. It is big enough to flaunt while holding in my hands, and comfortable enough to fit in my jeans’ pocket. If you happen to have a look at an iPhone 6’s battery-life metric, you will appreciate how better it is than that of iPhone 5, and in no case will you find the battery performance degrading from what it was in the earlier versions. Need I say anything about the camera? I have stopped carrying my DSLR even to the exotic holidays that I would probably be able to enjoy only once in my lifetime. The 8MP iSight camera, 1.5µ pixels, ƒ/2.2 aperture, along with an all-new sensor can help any amateur photographer click amazing pictures even in insufficient light. The video function with time-lapse is the fun way of compressing a long video without deleting any frames. I love how I don’t have to delete 10 selfies in order to keep only the one that I find the best. iPhone 6 has something called a burst mode that keeps shooting and deleting until you let it know of the best shot amongst the 10 rapid-fire shots that it clicks. > I bought my iPhone 6 online shopping, and guess what, I didn’t have to pay the M.R.P. Yes, I got my iPhone 6 at a steal deal on an online shopping portal. You can get that too. Shopping online is easy, safe, and convenient. It will hardly take a few clicks of the mouse to get your iPhone 6 delivered to your doorstep.
