With the many affordable last minute ski holidays available, it's possible to be simply daydreaming about snow-covered slopes on a Wednesday and find yourself on a flight to the French Alps by Friday afternoon! But in the haste and excitement of getting away, it's all too easy to neglect to pack some vital items – and finding out you've forgotten your very expensive ski socks just as you're about to pull on your boots to hit the piste is not the ideal scenario. Even the best-laid travel plans can turn to disaster if you leave home without: Insurance documentation (you remembered insurance, right?)
