What is a good meal plan to use to lose weight? A good eating plan for weight loss is one that you can use for a lifetime. Extreme diets and diet trends are not considered a good way to eat for the rest of your life. We are so blessed to have food available all around us. The hard part is that we have food available all around us! The convenience of food makes it so hard to know what you should and shouldn’t eat. There are so many choices that it just makes your head spin! You know that feeling when you are done spinning around,the blindfold comes off and you need to orient yourself before you can pin the tail on the donkey? I feel that way when I go to store sometimes. It is almost dizzying looking around at all of the choices out there. Let’s take a look at what a lose weight meal plan can do for you. A Lose Weight Meal Plan You Can Use Breakfast Ideas: Whatever you do, don’t skip this meal! Eat your breakfast everyday so your hunger meter stays in check and you don’t get overly hungry at meal times. Eggs, eat only 4 yolks a week. You can boil the eggs and just eat the whites or make a egg white omelette with mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes. Oatmeal or millet with honey or fruit in it. Fruit Smoothies are an excellent choice for breakfast. You can add some protein powder for extra energy and satisfaction. Lunch Ideas: Keep your energy up during the afternoon by avoiding too much carbs. Salad with only 1 tablespoon of low fat dressing. Lettuce wraps are a great alternative to sandwiches. Soup is an excellent lunch choice. My favorite is leftovers from the yesterday’s dinner. Dinner Ideas: Watch your portions for dinner. Make sure half of your plate is veggies and/or fruit. One quarter can be proteins and the other quarter carbohydrates. Snack Ideas: Have 3 snacks a day so that you don’t get so hungry at mealtimes and eat more than you should. Fruit, veggies with hummus, yogurt, boiled eggs, and nuts are all healthy satisfying snack ideas. I lose weight faster when I plan my meals. It takes out the questioning and head spinning to make my decisions easy and clear. When you have a plan in place and you are prepared with a list before you go to the store, you will have a much more efficient buying experience and come away with healthy foods to help you lose weight.
