Travelling can be a big hassle. There's packing, security lines, baggage fees, delays, layovers, and all other sorts of problems you have to deal with when traveling by plane. But before all of that, you have to figure out how to get to the airport. Phone a Friend Another option is to rely on the kindness of others to get you to your flight on time. If you have friends or family in the area, it should be fairly simple to find someone who is willing to drive you. However, it can be difficult to get a ride if your flight is in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, as many of your relations likely have jobs and other commitments. Additionally, this option may not be available to you on the other end of your trip. If you're traveling to a place where you don't know people, you likely won't have anyone to call for a ride when you land. You'll have to turn to other transportation options. Public Transit Most airports have public transportation options conveniently available either from the terminal or at least close by.
