When I was younger I had burning a passion for spicy foods. Actually I think it may have been for the spice not the foods. When I was ten I would put tabasco, cayenne pepper and chilli flakes into anything and everything I could eat. As I grew older I began to prefer the taste of spicy chilli sauces such as "Nando's XX Hot Peri Peri Sauce" from Australia. Because I enjoyed spice more than you would believe, I went on a journey and travelled around the world searching for the most delicious hot sauce known to man. Now I say delicious because having your mouth on fire is one thing, but having your mouth on fire while it tastes good is the best thing on Earth! I did a lot of research and my efforts resulted in the following. The "Carolina Reaper" was by far the hottest chilli pepper on earth. This pepper was something I eat once and never again. I decided that, that chilli needed to be utilised and crafted into a hot sauce. Somewhere in the States I came across my dream hot sauce. "Smokin' Ed's Reaper Squeezins". This was it the hot sauce I was looking for. Now believe when I say this sauce not only sets you a blaze. It tastes so good!! Having said this, I still do enjoy the classics such as good old tabasco, cayenne pepper and a personal favourite of mine "Diemen's Orignal Hot Sauce". I was always curious why I loved chilli so much. Or rather why I loved capsaicin so much. The first time I met my father was when I 16 years old. It was then that I learned where my passion came from. Picture this, a creamy mushroom soup grey in colour. The soup soon turned dark red with my father's chilli spices and concoctions. At that moment I knew like my father I too am a chilli enthusiast. I decided to create a place where people could come together and explore their chilli passion. If you click chilli beginnings you will find plenty of information and news about chilli peppers, their origins and their benefits. Please appreciate chilli and never to searching for your greatest flavour spice!
