But, these stores also teach work skills to employees that may have been homeless. Junk Service Another trend that follows the green movement is junk services. Many communities will have companies whose sole purpose is to pick up junk for homeowners. Most of them will bring a large truck and do all the work. They will start by making money just for hauling the junk away. Then, they will sort the junk into different categories to make more money. They will sort out large metal pieces and sell it as scrap to a recycling place. Other items in bad shape may be broken down and sold as parts. Even enough piles of paper or glass can make some money as recycling. Any items that are in good condition can be resold to a thrift store or private buyers. The best way to prevent accruing a lot of junk is to periodically dispose of stuff that is not being used. This way small loads can be donated to a local charity or disposed of in the regular trash. With all of the different ways to haul away junk, Atlanta residents can keep their home neat and organized.
