'Loving,' An Intimate Story of Love That Changed America |

Based on a true story, Loving offers an intimate portrait of Richard and Mildred Loving, a white man and a black woman, who defied the miscegenation laws of their native Virginia in 1957 and got married in neighboring Washington, D.C. The events that unfolded changed America. VOA’s Penelope Poulou spoke with the filmmaker and the lead actors in this dramatized landmark story.
