Squamous cellular carcinoma (SCC) is the 2nd most common form of skin cancer and frequently arises on the sunshine exposed skin of inner aged and elderly individuals. It is important to make note of that SCC has an initial high cure rate with surgery, but recurrence and pass on of the tumor are common pitfalls of this condition. A regular followup of such patients on a long-term basis is therefore mandatory.
