After months of hard work, we are delighted to officially announce the launch of our new BedVoyage website. We’ve been manufacturing eco-luxury bamboo bedding for 9 years, and have a very loyal fan base, but knew that it was time to offer a fresh and modern look after 5 years with our current website! It’s been all-hands on deck for the last 3 months, with new photo shoots, updated and optimized content, creating new informational blogs, giving a face-lift and more casual approach to our auto replies, and of course; working closely with our developers to launch the best site possible. Our main goal was to offer a site that was easier to shop, in today’s fast paced world; we know that people want to quickly locate what they need and check out as simply as possible. When redesigning our product pages, we took into consideration what we personally enjoy when online shopping, so we wanted to present a cleaner look, less clicks and scrolling, and a visually simpler way to choose products and/or move about the site. Our mobile app has been greatly enhanced as well, it loads faster and is more shoppable, and when half of our customers are placing orders on their smart phone, it was critical for us to upgrade the functionality. Another area we wanted to focus on was showcasing a gallery to offer inspiration for those that struggle with the desire to put together a designer look, but not sure how to start. Over the years, as we add new colors, we have intentionally chosen tones that mix and match very well together, so that you can be creative and design your own perfect sleeping sanctuary. This summer we’ll be expanding on our gallery as we create looks for certain styles, such as a masculine look, an ultra-feminine look, the super-chic hotel look, a fun college dorm bed, a summer bed that’s pared down for the heat, and a winter bed that’s loaded to the hilt! It’s all about how you layer our different product lines, as well as being creative with pillows and accessories. Many people dream of creating a bed that reminds them of a stay in a luxury resort, or a super cozy bed from a B&B where they snuggled on a memorable vacation. Whatever your style is, we will try to have a design concept that might fit you perfectly! We also wanted our blog and videos to be more prominently featured, we try to offer interesting and informative content, and wanted our visitors to be able to hop around on the site reading, watching, and leaving comments without having to hunt so long. We have a long list of topics for upcoming videos, blogs and social media events so keep your eye on us, we are far from finished! With over 160,000 sheet sets sold, the word is out there that BedVoyage bamboo bedding is a fabulous alternative to cotton! In order to spread the joy and benefits of bamboo, our product line can also be found on many large retail sites, so another upgrade to our new site is a slick new automated process for wholesale and hospitality accounts to sign up.
