Today, the world is changing rapidly because of the constant innovations in technology. Now-a-days everyone is a gadget freak, and with new gadgets coming out every day it is hard to imagine a world without them. Every year there is a slight change in the technology that overtakes the previous one and becomes the norm. This is happening across entire spectrum where technology is involved. Ever since the industrial age, the world has seen revolutionary innovations. It is sometimes easy to forget the impact technology has made on all our lives. The gadgets mentioned below are some of the game changing inventions Smartphones The world literally revolves around smartphones today. It is hard to imagine a life without phones since they have become such an integral part of our lives. The evolution of phones in last two decades has been exponential. Smartphones have redefined the way we live and today, they can do a lot more than just making calls. The digital revolution is fueled by smart phones and one can connect with people in innumerable ways with just a touch on the screen. We all are aware of the potential of smartphones, and how extensive their use-cases are! Television The modern television was first demonstrated back in 1920s! Television has evolved with the technology. It has shaped the social fabric, brought us NEWS, and is the choice of entertainment for people around the world. Without television, there would be no movies and no sitcoms. Hard to imagine that life, right? Laptop When computers were first invented they were the size of rooms and could hardly do anything more than basic mathematics. With time, the technology evolved and computers became powerful and could jot down some serious performance. The introduction of portable laptop changed more than we can comprehend. It is the standard device for professionals and has influenced business decisions. It has changed the way people work and has provided insights about how the corporate world will evolve. Digital Camera The first digital cameras were slow and produced images of low quality. They were also relatively expensive and difficult to use. Things have changed beyond comprehension today, and even our smartphones are equipped with one! However, digital cameras, and DSLRs have become so advanced that one can share pictures with the world with a click. Remember the time when we had to get our pictures printed and then post them to our grandparents? E-Readers E-readers have enormous potential and have recently came to life after the world went digital. The possibility to carry thousand books on a single device has made life convenient for people. E-books makes it interactive for people to read and take notes at the same time. Special Mention Bluetooth It’s true that Bluetooth is no standalone gadget, but in the modern world its influence is huge. A technology that took the world by its applications, and it has left its mark on the 21st Century. The applications of Bluetooth are endless and it allows us to transmit data between phones, TVs, Computers. Bluetooth has become a standard in every gadget which requires to ‘communicate’ with other devices or networks. These five ‘inventions’ have been game changing in defining the modern world as we know. If you are reading this it is likely you use all of them! There are however, more than these 5 inventions including the flashlight, modem, radio, the alarm clock and more that has changed the world as we know! Gadgets occupy a large amount of time in our daily life, and we have become increasingly dependent on them. However, with the amount of innovations, this list will keep on getting updated with new gadgets in time to come!
