Since owner and founding photographer Peter Majdan started his business 16 months ago, he has been in high demand with clients looking to make their own special memories last forever. In the last year alone he photographed over 35 weddings, both in the Nottingham area and further afield. What started as a desire to photograph street style and urban landscapes, quickly developed into a love of photographing weddings, as he was then and still is, thrilled to be able to provide a lasting record of one of the happiest days in any couples journey. “I don’t see myself as a wedding photographer as such, my role is more of an observer, capturing life as it happens around me. Weddings can often be hectic and busy occasions filled with raw emotion. Well taken photographs serve as a record of that moment to last for ever, and I am always honoured to be there to take them” Peter is dedicated to capturing natural shots, and doesn't believe that posed photographs act as a true representation of the emotions on the day. He describes his photographic style as “natural, without any posing, interrupting or trying to change the flow of the day’ He firmly believes that couples hire him to accurately portray the celebrations that take place on the day, exactly as they happen. He also believes that a good photographer should not be hidden in the shadows, but instead should be in amongst the action. He says that, “In order to be able to capture photos that will bring back all the fun, tears and happiness of the occasion, I need to be on hand to capture the smallest of moments that often go unnoticed. These precious seconds can lead to some of the best photos. Every wedding story is unique and it should be approached with fresh eyes. Because of his passion for capturing the true essence of every wedding, Peter limits his availability to ensure that every couple has his undivided attention for the duration of the day. He does not rush to squeeze in several weddings in one weekend and understands just how important great photographs are to every couple, their friends and their families.
