Foods That Cause Joint Pain to Better Stay Away From

Health
Joint pains are caused from a variety of things; this could relate back many years through some injury or using your joints and muscles in an unusual way at work or sport etc. One of the major causes of joint pain is arthritis. There are over 100 forms of arthritis, and every one of them can affect joints in different ways. Arthritis is most of the time related to older people, but that is not always the case. Anyone can get arthritis even children and young people. Some of the symptoms are stiffness, pain, reduced movement of a joint, swelling in a joint, redness and warmth in joints, and in general feeling unwell. Research suggests: Many diseases are preventable and are reversible. It is a matter of making some changes and doing things different. Finding the cause of it is a good start for curing it.

If you are one of those people having any kind of joint pain, instead of trying a variety of harmful anti-inflammatory medicine you can try a more natural way. As food is the major cause of the problem, it is a matter of finding a way in which you just need to eat the food wisely. What that means is, to free yourself of pain you just need to avoid those foods that cause them. To help you further in this, here is a list of some of the foods that can cause joint pain.

Avoid These Foods!

Such as fries and processed foods which have toxins that appear when foods are cooked, grilled, fried or pasteurized. According, foods cooked at high temperatures in your diet could potentially help blood AGE levels. In some cases, dairy products may worsen the pain in arthritis due to the type of protein they contain. Rather than getting proteins from dairy and meat get the bulk of your protein sources from vegetables. Sugar is one of those culprits in many foods that cause joint pain. It doesn't only decrease the immunity system of your body, but it increases inflammation and cancer cells as well. Other than this, sugar is also responsible for arthritis; if you want to have less or no pain it is best to avoid sugar in every possible way. Sugar is not only found in the food you eat, it is also in most beverages, such as fruit juices, soft drinks, sport drinks, power drinks and sodas etc.

No Benefit in Alcohol!

Too much alcohol is harmful for the body and creates many other problems and increases or causes joint pain as well. Few people consume it because they think it helps to manage the pain better. It may give that impression but this is misleading. Since alcohol is a neurotoxin substance it has some effect on the brain and it suppresses the pain for a short time only, but it increases many other problems that cause even more joint pain. The other issue with alcohol is that it spreads into the entire body including the blood stream and it weakens the membrane of joints. As a result, the joint pain becomes worse. Other than this, it affects the liver, kidneys, pancreases and the brain; that not only weakens a person psychically but mentally as well.

Foods That Are Acidic!

Nightshade foods as they are known are a very natural healthy food under normal circumstances but not when it comes to joint pain and arthritis. Because they are naturally acidic they are a big contributor to joint pain and arthritis. Here are some of the major ones to avoid: such as tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, all chili are common inflammatory foods, eggplant, cured vinegar and any other similar acidic foods.

Packed Foods!

Eating meat, vegetables or fruits that come in packed boxes with preservatives than you need to understand that these are foods that cause joint pain. No matter what kind of packed food you are consuming, it will affect your health and the pain in your joints will worsen. All packed foods contain a large amount of preservatives for keeping it fresh and to extend its shelf-life. These preservatives are responsible for many things including joint pain. So, the answer to this is, instead of packed or canned food you should consume only fresh food. Foods that contain gluten are another source of inflammatory problems and add to joint pain. Since gluten is not an easily digestible material and as a result of this it creates indigestion and some other problems that help to increase joint pain. It is strongly suggested that anyone with arthritis symptoms should avoid foods that have gluten in it. Just as necessary to add to this list: a mixture of both, rest and exercise are important, especially stretching exercises, and this is best being done as often as possible, as well warm baths and massages. Healthy joints need a balanced diet, physical activity, an adequate amount of rest and a positive attitude. Follow these steps and the results will speak for themselves.
