You may have to share the island with some seals and sheep, but you’re sure to be one of the only people around. Check out the island's 83m high point for unparalleled views of the surrounding area. Mt. Kilimanjaro Perhaps the world’s greatest trekking adventure, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is a mainstay on any serious bucket list. While a challenge, reaching the summit is achievable at 5,895m – just be sure to do some training beforehand! Experts predict that Kilimanjaro will lose its iconic snows as early as 2022, which makes a visit this year all the more imperative. Havana Cuba is an intoxicating holiday destination, thanks to its classic cars, colourful architecture and unique culture. Visiting Havana this year is a must: as relations continue to normalise between Cuba and the United States, the island’s charm will bring huge numbers of American tourists. That may facilitate a change in the landscape, and it’d be ideal to take in the city’s grandeur while you can.
