Protection visa (subclass 866) allows you to live and work in Australia as a permanent residence. Protection visa (subclass 866) is a permanent visa. To be eligible for protection visa (subclass 866) you must engage Australia’s protection obligations, you must have arrived in Australia with a valid visa, you meet the health and character requirements, if you are not barred in any way to lodge protection visa, if the minister is satisfied that visa granted is for national interest and if you are a refugee and you meet the protection criteria. The health examinations are carried out by Bupa Medical visa services. The health examinations protect your health and that of the Australian community. You must give police certificate from the country you have lived for 12 months or more for ten years after turning 16 years of age. Do not arrange for police certificate unless you are requested to do so. You must meet certain identity requirements. Protection visa (subclass 866) allows you to enroll in Medicare, live and work as a permanent resident. You are needed to pay some cost for the application to be processed. You must be Australia when applying protection visa (subclass 866). You are required to comply with the visa conditions and Australia laws. You are requested to give exact information about your personal circumstances.
