Fitness & Nutrition
The most obvious of these two traits that will help you out is nutrition. Greasy and sugary junk food means you’re increasing your chances of a breakout, significantly. Cut out greasy, sugary, and fatty foods from your diet. Replace them with healthier alternatives such as fruits and veggies. It might sound impossible at first, but as time goes on, you’ll find that you will prefer fruits and veggies over junk food. Ok, at the very least, you’ll crave fruit!
The second thing you can do, if you haven’t already, is exercise! Exercising provides your mind, body, and soul tons of great benefits. Your skin is one of them.
That’s right, stress is linked to increasing your chances of a breakout. That and a number of other negative things. Try uprooting yourself from as much of the unnecessary stress in your life. Figure out what you don’t need, and get rid of it. Then add meditation to your daily or weekly routine or simply give yourself time to do something you love. Calm your body and your mind. Soothe the stress away, and you’ll find that your acne outbreaks will begin to deteriorate too!
Clean Your Face Consistently
Finally, make sure you find time to clean your face every day. Wash your face in the morning and at night. Be sure to use warm water and a mild cleanser. You can use face masks more consistently.
