The Tamang Heritage Trail is a new trekking course developed in Nepal. This trekking trail is quite close to Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal. This trekking trail is located to the north of Kathmandu. It takes approximately 7-8 hours from Kathmandu to reach the starting point of this trek. The trek starts and ends at Syabrubesi. Tamang heritage trek is the community-based trekking package between Ganesh Himal and Langtang range. This trek provides that the trekkers the chance to be aware of the culture of the Tamang community, along with the perspective of spectacular all-natural beauties. The trekkers may also enjoy the healing baths in natural hot springs. The locals of this trekking course mostly belong to the Tamang community. It's said that the Tamangs residing here would be the Tibetan people migrating to Nepal for permanent settlement. It's thought that the ancestors of the Tamang people of the current days were the Tibetan sect people who flew from Tibet to live in Nepal. They then started staying in Nepal permanently and changed their Tibetan caste into Tamang. Tamang community people living on and near this new trekking road celebrate Lhosar. They like the festivals by doing a dance named'Selo'. The musical instruments called'Dhampu' are performed by the gents of the Tamang community whereas women perform the dance. Trekkers trekking on this season to this course may enjoy the pleasure of Selo dance with the natives as well as taste the local cuisine of Tamang. During this trek, the trekkers may enjoy an awesome view of Langtang ranges as well as they can enjoy the amazing scenes of the woods covered with red Rhododendron blossoms. Blooming of the Rhododendron on the hills of the trail makes the hills appear reddish, which becomes even more appealing. All these help to make the trek more and more attractive. The trek is brief and not so hard as well as is also a cheap trekking course in comparison to other folks. Thus this trek will surely suit to each trekker. This area was formerly enlisted as a limited area for the tourist's travel but has been recently opened. When you are in Kathmandu you would not need to miss the opportunity to observe the sunrise in Nagarkot. The golden color cloud with the sunrise makes you feel as though you're in Heaven and the magnificent view of Mount Everest makes your visit a million-dollar one. I would strongly recommend get to Nagarkot, one of the greatest mountain channels, where you will find a resort for any budget and preference. It isn't really tricky to reach Nagarkot. You can reserve a cab or take the daily tourist bus which departs from Thamel at 7 am every day in the tourist season and on-demand out of season. A great view of mountains, one of Nepal's biggest attractions can be enjoyed on a transparent day. The very best time of year to view remarkable views of these mountains is from September through to February. The entry fee is only 70 rupees. Thamel, Narayanhiti national museum, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Rani Pokhari, Dharahara are other intriguing places that are within a 2km radius, therefore I hope you would you could visit these places with no difficulty. Thamel is the gathering point of Tourists in Nepal where I feel each tourist will go once they go to Kathmandu. Here you can observe as many tourists as native people. You may get some great restaurants and very good hotels for your lodging in Thamel.
